Healthcare Professional Course
Designed for healthcare professionals who want to develop
their knowledge and practical skills in intramuscular vitamin
injections and introduce an additional service into their
professional practice.
Suitable backgrounds may include chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, midwives, occupational therapists, podiatrists, dietitians and other healthcare professionals.
Wellness Practitioner Course
Designed for individuals looking to develop skills in
intramuscular vitamin injections and explore opportunities
within the wellness industry, including those working in
beauty, fitness and wellness.

Do I need to be a healthcare professional?
No. Our Healthcare Professional Course is designed for healthcare professionals, while our Wellness Practitioner Pathway provides a separate training route for eligible individuals outside traditional healthcare backgrounds.

I’m already a healthcare professional. Do I still need to complete all of the training?
Yes. Our Healthcare Professional Course has been specifically designed with existing professional knowledge and experience in mind, but successful completion of the required online theory and practical competency assessment is still required for course certification.
How Your Training Works
Online learning combined with supervised, hands-on practical training.
What will I learn?
Our vitamin injection training combines the theory behind commonly used injectable vitamins with the practical skills required for safe intramuscular administration.
Training includes Vitamin B12, B Complex, Vitamin C and Vitamin D, alongside anatomy, injection technique, screening, contraindications, consent, infection prevention, adverse reactions and safe practice.
During your practical training you'll develop hands-on skills including equipment preparation, drawing up, anatomical landmarking and supervised intramuscular injection technique.
Is the course CPD accredited?
Yes. Our vitamin injection training is CPD accredited and combines structured online learning with supervised practical training and competency-based assessment.
Is the course online or in person?
Both.
Your theory is completed online, giving you the flexibility to work through the learning around your existing commitments.
You'll then attend supervised, hands-on practical training where you can develop your technique, practise the skills covered in your theory and complete your practical competency assessment.
Will I actually practise injection techniques?
Yes. Hands-on learning is an essential part of our training.
You'll practise intramuscular injection techniques in a supervised training environment, including anatomical landmarking, equipment preparation, drawing up and safe injection technique.
You'll also complete a practical competency assessment as part of successfully completing the course.
How long does the training take?
Both courses combine self-paced online learning with a 3-hour supervised practical training session.
You can work through the online theory at your own pace, giving you the flexibility to fit your learning around work and other commitments.
All required online theory must be successfully completed before attending your practical training.
Where does practical training take place?
Practical training takes place at our Leigh-on-Sea, Essex training clinic.
Full clinic address, travel information and joining instructions will be provided once your practical session has been confirmed.
For businesses, clinics, gyms, studios or training providers with three or more delegates, we may also be able to deliver the practical element at your premises, subject to location and suitability of the training environment.
Is the practical training one-to-one?
Practical training is delivered on a private or highly personalised basis, allowing plenty of dedicated trainer support, supervised practice and individual feedback.
Depending on bookings, this may be an individual session or a very small training session.
This gives you plenty of opportunity to practise your technique, ask questions and complete your practical competency assessment.
When can I attend my practical training?
Practical training is arranged flexibly rather than being limited to fixed group course dates.
Subject to availability, appointments may be arranged midweek, during the evening or at weekends.
If you have a particular day or timeframe in mind, you're very welcome to contact us before enrolling to discuss availability.

What happens after you complete your theory, practical training and competency assessment.
What do I receive when I complete the course?
Once you have successfully completed the required online theory and practical competency assessment, you'll receive your course certificate.
Can I offer vitamin injections after completing the course?
Successful completion demonstrates that you have completed the training and practical competency requirements covered within your course.
Before offering a service independently, you'll need to ensure you have appropriate professional insurance and that the products and services you intend to offer are appropriate for your professional circumstances.
We can also provide introductions to our insurance partner and independent supplier to help with your next steps.
Do you help with insurance?
Yes. We work with Insync Insurance, who can provide insurance options for eligible graduates of both our Healthcare Professional and Wellness Practitioner pathways.
Following successful completion of the course and competency assessment, we can introduce you directly to Insync to discuss appropriate professional cover for your individual circumstances.
Insurance is provided independently by Insync and remains subject to their eligibility criteria, terms and approval.
Do you help with sourcing vitamin injections and equipment?
Yes. Following your training, we can introduce you to an established independent supplier where you can source injectable vitamin products and relevant equipment for your service.
We also cover the typical equipment and consumables you'll need to get started, so you have a clear idea of what you'll need.
The supplier operates independently from Dr George Wellness Academy. Practitioners are responsible for ensuring that any products they purchase and use are appropriate for their practice and accepted by their insurer.
What if I need access to a prescriber?
If you require access to a prescriber for your own practice, we can provide an introduction to an independent prescribing service.
Dr George Wellness Academy does not provide prescribing advice or prescribing services. Any arrangements are made independently between the practitioner and the relevant provider.

Can I add vitamin injections to my existing business?
For many delegates, that's exactly the goal.
Vitamin injection services may complement an existing healthcare, fitness, beauty or wellness business, subject to appropriate training, insurance and the requirements relevant to your individual practice.
Others choose our training as part of developing a completely new wellness service.
Can I build a new business around vitamin injections?
Our Wellness Practitioner Pathway is particularly suited to people looking to develop a new skill and potentially build a flexible wellness service around it.
As with any business, results will depend on factors including your location, pricing, marketing, client demand, operating costs and the time you choose to dedicate to it.
How much can I charge for vitamin injections?
Pricing varies depending on the vitamin offered, location, business model and local market.
During the course, we discuss practical considerations around introducing vitamin injections into a business or professional practice, including service pricing and typical setup considerations.
How much could I earn?
This depends on your pricing, number of clients, product and consumable costs and other business expenses.
Vitamin injections can provide an additional revenue stream for an existing practice or form part of a new wellness business, but we don't make guaranteed income claims.

Yes. Flexible payment options are available, including Klarna where eligible, allowing you to spread the cost rather than paying the full course fee upfront.
Payment options are subject to the provider's eligibility criteria and terms.
How do I arrange my practical training?
Once you've enrolled, you'll receive immediate access to your online learning.
Simply contact the Academy at hello@drgeorgewellness.com with the days and times that generally work best for you, and we'll come back to you with suitable practical training options.
Practical appointments are arranged around clinic availability, with midweek, evening and weekend appointments available by arrangement.
Do I need to complete the online course before arranging my practical?
No. You can contact us to arrange your practical training while you're working through the online course.
However, all required online theory must be successfully completed before you attend your practical training session.
If your theory has not been completed in time, your practical session may need to be rearranged.
What happens after I enrol?
You'll receive immediate access to your online course so you can begin your theory training straight away.
You can then contact our team to arrange your personalised practical training session while you continue working through your online learning.
Once you've successfully completed the required theory, you'll attend your 3-hour practical training and complete your practical competency assessment.
Following successful completion of both the online and practical elements of the course, your course certificate will be issued.
